Welcome to the 32nd ICM Virtual Triennial Congress

ICM Statement

In October, the ICM Board made the decision to transfer the 2021 32nd Triennial Congress to a virtual format instead of continuing with plans for a face-to-face Congress in Bali. Given the uncertain trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic, we feel this is the safest course of action. ICM’s statement about this decision was released on 9 October.

As we confirm the logistics, we’re excited by the various engagement opportunities a tech-based Congress will enable. Ultimately, we believe a virtual format will facilitate new channels of communication and increase access for midwives, our partners and our stakeholders everywhere.
We are confident that the new virtual format will ensure more members of our global community are able to attend our Congress, and that the Virtual Triennial Congress 2021 will be the largest gathering of midwives the world has ever seen.
